Web page having troubles May 19, 2008
Hi Everyone.

Our web page is having some random difficulties at the moment. Our ISP recently changed the version of the underlying software (without warning, alas), and this is causing random issues on our web page. We are working as fast as we can to get things back to normal, but there are a lot of pages, and some may slip by. Specifically affected are the license generation page (which should now be working more or less) and the old forum system.

If you need help with Smedge or if you find any other web pages that don't seem to be working correctly, please contact Uberware Support if you have any questions. We hope to have the problems resolved shortly.

Thank you for your patience.

Smedge on OS-X is now available for download! February 19, 2008
The long awaited port to OS-X is nearly complete. You can now download and use Smedge on your Macs. It will run on Intel or PowerPC based Macs running OS-X 10.4 or later.

There are still a few minor outstanding issues with the Mac port. The Windows port is ready to go, and the Linux port should be online in the next few days. Full information, release notes, and download instructions can be found on the beta web page. Enjoy!

Combustion Virtual Module improved December 22, 2007
The Combustion Virtual Module had an issue that was causing renders to overwrite the same frames with each packet. It also moves the output file, which is a required parameter for all renders, onto the front page of the Submit Job dialog with bold text, making it easy to find.

The new Module will be included in future releases of Smedge 3. If you want to get it working with older releases, you can simply download and replace the Virtual Module file itself. Make sure to replace it on all of your machines, including the Master.
