The only component of Smedge that requires a license is the SmedgeEngine.
This is the application that runs on your Engine computers that actually performs the work.
You must purchase one license for every machine you would like to use as an Engine.
You can run the Master and any Shell programs on as many machines on your network as you wish.
Smedge costs $100 per Engine.
You only need to purchase licenses for machines you want to use for rendering.
Your license will last forever, but it will only run versions of Smedge that were released up to the date your support contract expires.

Remote installation is available for $100 per hour, with a 2 hour minimum.
Remote installation is available worldwide, as long as you can provide remote desktop access to your network.
We suggest using our Remote Support system, or we can use any remote desktop protocol you have available, such as VNC or Remote Desktop.
