I hope everyone had a nice holiday season! We will be posting updates and links for Smedge 2015 soon. Alpha 3 includes the first steps towards the new dark interface to better integrate with your desktop environment and the applications that Smedge works with.

New Render Wrangling Service	May 29, 2014
Uberware is pleased to announce that we have a new service available to perform remote render wrangling. Available for farms both small and large, either with periodic or full time monitoring.

Smedge 2014 Update 3 is here	April 08, 2014
This version adds a few fun new features, including the Heat Grid and the ability to move forward and backward in your selection history, both of which I have found incredibly useful in managing large farm and large jobs. There are plenty of other new features as well, including Arnold standalone renderer support and Modo split frame rendering. You can find more information about the changes in the "What's New" manual in the distribution and online.

Updated Remote Support Clients	March 20, 2014
We have updated our remote support client to the latest version from TeamViewer. It now works by directly creating a link to the component from a simple URL: http://get.teamviewer.com/Smedge. This version fixes a few issues in the old version, and is available natively on Windows, Mac, and now also on Linux!

Smedge 2014 Update 2 is available	February 01, 2014
The latest update to Smedge is now available for immediate download on Windows, Linux and Mac. The biggest new feature in this update is that Smedge for Windows now runs as a native 64 bit process. This means that you can scale it even farther than ever before, and it should run a little smoother and faster than previous versions. There are also some bug fixes, mostly in the GUI display, and a few additional features that have been requested in the last few months.
